Call About This Work
A good paint job is mostly preparation. On every house we scrape loose paint, sand, patch, and prime before the first finish coat, whether it is a shingled cape, a clapboard colonial, or a Victorian with trim in several colors. Indoors we paint rooms and stairways, coat porch and deck floors, and put clear finishes on pine boards so they hold up to daily wear.

Peeling columns, pilasters, and entry steps on a Greek Revival church. We prepped and repainted the whole front, from the cornice and bell tower down to the steps and railings.

The siding on this connected farmhouse and barn had peeled down to bare wood. We scraped and repainted it in a deep green, with the barn doors, shutters, and trim picked out in red.

A large deck with a peeling, worn-out finish. We pressure washed the floor and railings, scraped off the loose old coating once it dried, then applied two coats of stain to the floor, railings, steps, and posts.

A new log home went from raw, unfinished logs to a deep, protective stain on every log, corner, and rafter tail.
